tomorrow is my cheer leading tryouts.... any tips?

i am really nervous! not like freaking out tho....
ok, we have a cheer, dance, and kicks/jumps. i have them all down, i just cant do the dance as fast as i im supposed to :/ any tips? the song that the dance is to is
"shake" by the ying yang twins ft. pit bull.
any tips to calm me down? help me do the dance faster?

first, get as much sleep as you can. and don't overanalyze, and relax. and eat a good breakfast.
to dance faster, concentrate on the steps and the beat, and it'll flow.

Rest, healthy eating excercize. Im on the best team in canada and 4th in noRth america. At tryouts, ask questions if your confuzed or you dont understand be friendly, happy smiling. If your a top, tip for stunting, lock your mucles its easier for te bases. And if your a base use your legs in stunting nit arms. For conditioning, DONT CHEAT!!!!!! They will notice, and if you cheat at tryouts, they will know you will cheat abd not do the work if your on the team and you will be cut, jumps, its not about how high you jump, its tecnique, for a toetouch for exanpe you bring your legs up in front and up. Dont bend your waist/back, bad tecnique. And dont worry or be nervous just think i can do this. I can make the team. Do some excersizes at home (ex. Plank, pushups, wall sits, jog around the block) For tumbling, if you dont have back handsprings, thats okay. Keep workin. Just a summersault, cartwheel, and round off are basic and fine. Dancing, watch directions, left and right, and try and get as much as the dance memorized as you can, then practice at hm before next tryout.
 
You should deff try to get some rest, it will help you be more focused. And during your tryout be confident, perform with lots of attitude and keep a smile on your face. While doing this you need to count the beats to the song, this will ensure that you stay in rhythm and will keep you in control. Other than that give it all you got and go HARD! Good luck babe!
 
just be confident I'm sure you will make it sit down take some deep breaths close your eyes and picture yourself as the star as if you did make it and are on the team or try with your eyes closed picturing yourself doing it as you do it but picture it perfect and b4 you know it you will actually be doing it just relax as you do it that's what my friend did when she couldn't get it right and she ended up finally getting in a couple of hours perfect all she needed was just to be confident relax and think of herself actually doing as if she was there i bet you will do great
