So once you hit 30 it renders you incapable of writing new material? Holy shhit, I never knew.

They should have just kept their "integrity" and not reunited. Their other projects weren't too bad really, +44 actually had some decent stuff and that's coming from a person who's not really into that scene. But reforming to play the same songs as before? I understand that they're releasing a new album, but it still just comes off as a desperate attempt to generate some cash.
 
I guess it's a little unrealistic of me to think that but what I really think the point is, is why reform at all? As I said, it doesn't show much integrity and it just doesn't feel very genuine. The fact that they are still playing angsty songs really just gives them a desperate feel. I can't see three fully grown men sitting around one day and thinking "Hey, I think we should get back together to sing about f*cking dogs". There doesn't seem to be any creative longing/genuine enthusiasm for their music in this decision. It really spoils their integrity to think that it's all for the money. Not really true to the punk rock ethos.
 
Well you never know, it seems to me that they have a ****load of happy fans about them reuniting.
They are taking the approach most banRAB take after reuniting, tour and then hit the studio.
 
The guy from Blink 182. He's the one with the higher voice.
Since they got back together his voice sucks live simply put.
 
haha the name of this thread was enough to make me laugh.

Despite the fact that his voice is so over the top, Blink tunes resonate with me for nostalgic reasons. I was listening to "Enema of the State" the other day, and hearing De Longe's voice reminded me of the days when I was out riding BMX bikes with my frienRAB, taking interest in the fairer sex for the first times, getting homeless people to buy me cigarettes at gas stations....Blink reminRAB me of my childhood, so I tend to not get hung up on the dude's voice....
