By that logic.. Gargoyles, X-Men TAS, Batman TAS, would air on Adult Swim. The same thing people said about Yu-Gi-oh! back in 2002. and YGO abridged show us that is a simple show about adults solving their problems with a childrens card game.



Eh telling the truth is not shooting down. Inuyasha and Sailor Moon are not the same. Inuyasha is much violent, and sexual than Sailor Moon. If you remenber Sailor Moon Season 1 hardly had any violence or issues at least till the Rainbow crystals when things started to get a bit more intense. The only season that would had some problems would be Sailor Moon S and even that ran almost uncut back then in Toonami.
 
CWi The company that dubbed Sailor S and Sailor Supers ran almost uncut the only problem with them was the stupid dialogue and calling people the wrong thing, continiution problems and calling people and attacks the wrong thing and people hated Usagi's voice but, I really don't care plus CWi did'nt edit any Japanese Kana they just added subtitles baalove any Japanese Kana so you could understand it. Like

I even recall in the ep where Uranus and Neptune find out Sailor Moon's iddentifty seeing the katakana and kanji saying "Juuban Blood drive" I even remeraber Minako having a book saying "How to find out if you have a pure heart".

huh? What continuation problems? The wrong attacks? Most of the attacks were left intact. and the names were carried over from the DiC dub, even the Spanish dub carries over some of the terms of the English dub in some episodes. People hated Usagi's voice? Who? The target audience didn't. (8-13 year old little girls) Besides did the target audience even cared about having some random Kanji covered by English letters? Most of these complains are trivial.

Besides the dub it's the Least of the problems this series will have, the main problem is: How to re-introduce this show to a new audience after so many years out of the loop? Specially since it's 17 years old..
 
What? Bullocks! The episode with Usagi helping the musician with his love troubles was one of the best episodes from the pre-scout era. It's too bad that episode had to get the axe during the DiC dub run due to DiC's strict 65 episode policy.
 
Slightly incorrect. That's actually the FCC's policy. For shows that are syndicated, the FCC requires that they run for at least 13 weeks. This means that a show must have either 13 episodes for weekly syndication or 65 episodes for "daily" (which in this case means Monday through Friday) syndication. In this respect, this was already out of DIC's hanRAB. My understanding is that some episodes were either were also removed because of "controversial content" (e.g., I understand that during the "Silver Crystal" part of the first series, there was an episode where Usagi actually considered "killing" one of the "yoma"-posessed humans that she was facing with her tiara instead of "healing" her...).

You're talking about when Sailor Moon was airing on Cartoon Network. When SM 1st aired in the U.S. in syndication, most stations aired the series at a death slot at 6am or earlier, and SM was never a big commercial success the way that Dragon Ball Z and Pok

This isn't the early 90's. You can't air old material and expect it to do well in any outlet other than pure nostalgia. It doesn't work, especially with kid TV. Look at remixed Power Rangers. All you have is a nostalgia factor. And after live action toku Moon with 99 cents store masks and a more accurate plot, getting a fancy remake is incredibly unlikely. So this remains a nostalgic trip, or the butt of a lot of jokes.

I was 5 during the 90's was two time used a lot? I laughed when I watched this ep.
 
I know it and I know the inconsistencies since I seen both versions. But contrary to DIC dub of Classic Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon S was almost left intact.
