today my 2000 chevy impala sounded like the muffler fell off or something b/c it

makes a loud sound? when i press the gas it makes a really loud sound like i have floor master pipes or something. this never happened til today

Considering the age of the vehicle, a hole may formed somewhere. Usually between welding points. Many muffler shops do free inspections. Give one a call.

sounds like u need a new muffler, or your exhaust system has a hole in it somewhere.
