Conform this ? .......I'm not positive..........Did we have a Pluto Eclipse today..........I live in California: at about 7:30 which was a hour ago i was looking at what i believed to be Pluto in the lower western sky about 30 degrees off the horizon. If this is a Pluto eclipse how rare are these aspects?

No, we didn't. You can't see Pluto without a telescope. Pluto is NEVER in eclipse.

Only 2 types of eclipses can be seen on Earth - a solar eclipse (when the moon gets between the sun and the Earth) and a lunar eclipse (when the moon moves into the Earth's shadow).

The planet in the western sky is Venus (its been bright in the western sky since November).
It wasn't an eclipse - assuming you were looking at Venus with a telescope, you saw its gibbous phase - Venus is closer to the sun than the Earth and exhibits phases just like the moon does.
