To what extent is nudity allowed in a bookstore (within a book)?

Where do bookstores like Barnes and Nobles draw the line on what they can sell? Is partial nudity allowed in bookstores? Mainly I'm wondering about a full backside view of a person, with no other "parts" showing, like photographs in a book.

As I was looking in the art section of Barnes and Noble, I stumbled across a book that was all full frontal nudity. I am not a perve, by the way.

hmm thats a good question. While they probably dont sell porno books, there are some pretty risque pictures ive seen. Where exactly that line is, only they can answer for sure!

It wouldn't be disallowed, by any means, but it might turn some people away.

Total nudity is acceptable as long as it's artful and tasteful. I've seen photography books in Barnes & Noble and Borders and other book chains with total nudity. Especially in the Gay & Lesbian lifestyle section I always end up in when I'm in these places with one of my gay friends.

I've seen Madonna's sex book sold at Barnes and Noble, so I assume anything goes.
