I have owned both in the past (currently own a 2010 Ford Escape).
I bought the truck because my wife and I needed a larger vehicle for the next few years, however after owning it for only 6 months, and it being back to the dealer 2 times already, I can already say with confidence that I will never buy another Ford again.
My other car was a 1995 Toyota Celica that I bought with 125k miles. By the time I sold it 3 years later with 175k miles I had changed the radiator and the flex-pipe. (Both had become rusty which is expected after 15 years in the north-east).
What are your takes? Which do you prefer?
