WALL-E was a fantastic movie I see no reason why it shouldn't be nominated for Best Picture. Despite the main characters being unable to speak and being robots, they had more depth and personality than any character in any movie I saw this past year, with the exception of perhaps Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.

I have to agree that... no, it does not deserve it
I liked the movie as a good pasttime and the animation was great. But I can't stand it when movies and series support themselves on love stories... don't ask why, I just think it could be replaced with explosions and more plot twists
