To Street Fight or not...

I can't decide on whether to sell my Speed Triple so I can buy a Streetfighter. I really like my Triple especially since I have it tricked out just the way I like it AND it is paid for.

So why am I considering it? Well, I really like the way the Streetfighter looks, and I can only imagine the power that bike must have. Also, I always enjoying modding my bikes to my taste. The Speed Triple is pretty much done (mod wise). Yes, it rides great and has ample power, but I still lust for that Ducati sound.

So what is a guy to do......
oh, no way am I going to keep the Speed Triple AND buy the Streetfighter. It is one or the other....
 
Boy's, I know Texas Boy and I can tell ya it's not a matter "IF" it's "When" he gets the Street Fighter.

The fact that he is even trying to justify the purchase of the new Street Fighter shows me he will buy one.

This is routine for him and he does it everytime he buys a new bike. Meh...... nothing new, the seed has been planted. Now lets watch it grow and see what color and mods he adds to his new "Street Fighter"

It's all good Texas Boy, I say get rid of that Ugly Triumph and get something else Italian made!!

The Triple is not that cool, trust me....heheheh

Congrats on your new StreetFighter..I wanna ride it!!
 
I would not even have to think about it. If my warden gave me permission I would be driving to Dallas as soon as the streetfighter is available.

Just read Motorcyclist Magazine's first look at the Streetfighter. It's a bad boy. Go buy it. As a matter of fact.....Jonboy, let's go get you one.
 
I had a Speed Triple 1050

GREAT BIKE
EVEN GREATER ENGINE.

the StreetFighter is $18K+++
The new 1050 maybe 12k.


try put some clip ons on your 1050.
They change the whole look and you can open them wide for an even more aggressive look.


That said... the StreetFighter is cool.. but looks a little too jap for ME.... and Italian StreetFighter shoud have been a beefed up Monster, not a honda-like project.

I've ridden my buddy's Speed Triple its a very cool bike and he modded his white and blue istead of black and blue. Its a fun bike, wheelies on demand . But I'd get the street fighter, I love that bike and cannot wait ot see some aftermarket goodies that come out for it!
 
on another note..

the 1050 is also very comfortable... also consider the passenger... not sure about you guys, but my girl loves to ride with me... and the 1050 is very comfortable for the two.

The Streetfighter has the same tail of my 1098.... not really passenger dedicated

not a big deal... but still... if you enjoy riding around with your girl.... you know...

Unless she has her own bike... then rock on!!!
