Ok so I decided to take my 1957 ford out of my dads garage its been in the family since 57' however it has been sitting in storage for twenty years. I decided to pop the master cylinder cap off and take a look at the reason why the pedal was going to the floor. needless to say I broke the bolt in half that was the cap for the master cylinder and noticed some battery corrosion type flakes inside the hole. So should I replace the master cylinder or try and have it rebuilt? The master cylinder is off and I haven't done anything yet to the car other than change points, condenser, cap, rotor, and air a couple tires up.
