To People that own the Pontiac G8 GT is it worth the buy?

I mostly want to know if Pontiac cars have few mechanical problems because I'll be on a 60/month payment term & I also have the Lexus GS 350 or GS 430 in my sights as-well because I'm trying to decide if I should get a Luxury Sedan or a Sport Sedan. Also if I do go with the GT, does it have a good line of aftermarket parts out for it yet?
