To lose weight for thighs and butt do you think a 30-45 minutes on a treadmill

Make sure to figure out your diet first or it won't help as much. Always eat healthy and drink water. I would alternate those in your workouts along with other exercises. Squats will hit the glutes and most of your leg muscles all at once. If you don't want to lift weight then air squats, lunges, and some crazy kickboxing will take care to sculpt that area.
