Hi! I'm an 8th grade student, and for our final essay in English we have to find 3 characters that exemplify courage and why. So far I have:
1) Ms. Dubose- fighting her morphine addiction (which is hard) before she dies
2) Atticus Finch- protecting Tom Robinson (negroe) and defending him to his fullest extent in court (accused of rape to Mayella Ewell)
3) ??- Would Jem work? And why??? I wa thinking because he stands up to Bob Ewell for his sister and nearly dies because of it? Would that work?
Any ideas that you have to mention on this book is more then welcome. You can trust me that I won't copy and paste. i just have an incredibly hard time writting a literary analysis. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!
