To good to be true?

There is a reseller, named Geiz Boss, selling this phone for $600 bucks and will be shipping it using this website called http://www.global-trans.eu.tc/
I wanted to know if there is anything legit about this, because $400 for an E90 sounds too good to be true.
In my email exchange with him when I asked him about the methods of payment and his location, he stated:

"Vancouver. the transaction will be made using a serios and a very reliable third party company: http://www.global-trans.eu.tc/ . This company will secure the transaction and will protect us from any problems during the transaction. The procces is very simple. I will go and make a reservation on your name, i will let the phones at their office. The company will contact you and inform you about the package and send you the payment details. After you make the payment to the company, they will deliver the phones to you in 24 houres. The money will stay at the company until you accept the phones. You will have 10 days inspection period, in this time you will inspect the phone and decide if you keep them. If you accept the phones the company will send me the money and the transaction will be over. If you dont like the phones , the company will give you the money back and return the phones to me and the transaction will be over, simple and safe."

What do you guys think?
 
He said he's based in Vancouver. Did a lookup on the website, turns out its located in Germany. Inadequate information provided, and they accept money transfer thru Western Union. Now what is the catch?
 
WEstern Union is the catch. YOu send him the money thru western union, he can pick it up anywhere in the world and you would never know where. All he needs is that confrimation #, he takes your money, and thats it. WU wont do anything to help you. This smells of scam all over it. If he insits on using an escrow service, tell him you will pick the service and pay for it. If he declines, well, then you know it was a scam.
 
Smells fishy.

Ask the guy if he'll accept PayPal. I'm betting you get some long story about how PayPal doesn't work in LaLaLand or wherever he actually is, since I doubt he's in Vancouver.

Did you get an e-mail from this guy? Check the headers for his IP address and see what country THAT is in.

And that "reliable third party" website is down.
 
I loaded up the 'third party website' and this is whats right up on the top
MySQL Verbindung gescheitert. Seems like a pretty dirty job in making a website and leaving that at the top.
His follow up email:

"I start thye delivery with the company, after that the company will contact you by mail to inform you that they have a package for you and will inform you how to pay them ! you will make the payment to the company. after you confirm the payment to the company they will give you the phones and after that you have 10 days inspection periode. I will receive the money from the company after you accept the phones after those 10 days.
I will need now your name and address to start the delivery."
 
Asked him if his 'third party' company will accept PayPal

He said:
"okay, I`ll ask them. i`ll get back to you after I get an answer.
thanks"

Now what else must I be worried about? Any other loop holes he could exploit? How do I make this transaction (if I make it) foolproof?
 
if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

have nothing to do with that company. seriousy! even their email alone reeks of scam, and no legitimate and professional company would ever make those horrendously bad spelling mistakes and grammar in that passage that you quoted here:
