To get a chance

I came to Seattle just a couple of weeks ago. Firstly in America and firstly on my own...

I just want to know how it goes here with auditions? Are there public auditions within Record Labels or should I make an appointment? Or... does it take place at all?

maybe go to local pubs and perform there... get to know other musicians and see what they are trying to do to get noticed? What exactly are you trying to audition for anyway? Do you have a band, looking to get into one, or trying to fly solo?
 
Flying solo? I was supposed to at the beginning but now I have great keys and bass. So, it's not a solo project anymore.

I just try to discovere which ways are possible in the US ans which way is ours, probably.
 
Anastassiya (is that a russian name?), I know you think that the internet is not a reliable means to get attention but you should really consider putting yourself out there, it really is a great way to get a loyal following of fans. You should record a demo song or two and put them online. The people in this forum seem to be genuinely into music so I'm sure they will be glad to give you their honest opinions. If I like it, I could write about you on my site and maybe get a bit (its still very new) of exposure for you that way.

You're underestimating the power of the internet :)
