it happens every time you you lose a job or someone is made homeless, oh ya when you put demicrates or republicians or hell political, lets be truthful any green peace of @#$$ out there who couldn't care less how many people they have to walk on so long as their cult will be seen as a thing, I hope all those who have supported this garbage globe warming have lost every thing and should have thier cars taken away make them walk.
Although welder is a little abrasive in his answer he does have a point. Solar power and other alternative power is just not going to produce much energy for the amount of space it takes up. Plus you can't change the whole infostructure, so what else can you do. Slow down the whole economy is really the only thing you can do right now until some significante technology comes along.
The more the whole population makes the more energy is used to make and produce all that stuff. The rich only represent something like 15% of all things bought or services used. The rest of us use so much more than them. Think about it. Maybe that is why the stimulus package didn't work.
