To anyone who saw Sherlock Holmes

Saw it today. Never really watched any Sherlock Holmes before but really enjoyed the film. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr were great.

I didn't see the Inception trailer. We had Clash of the Titans, Robin Hood and The Wolfman which all look really good.

Watched it today and thought it was great ! I loved the depiction of Victorian London. Thought RDJ and JL were excellent as was Eddie Marsan as Inspector Lastrad, the two girls in it were rather unmemorable.

Just come back from seeing it and loved it. Trailers I saw were: Did you hear about the Morgans and It's Complicated... bit of a weird choice!

I saw Sherlock Holmes boxing day and thought it was excellent, a lot better than the trailers made it look. We saw the trailer for Brothers and I don't actually remember any of the other trailers, sorry

I enjoyed it, but thought it was a little overlong. I don't really know anything about Sherlock Holmes - I wanted to see it because I'm a Robert Downey Jr fan, so I can't comment on it versus the books or previous film/tele versions.

The adverts at the start of the film are getting ridiculous now. Half hour of products I have no interest in buying, and only 2 trailers. I think one of them was the Morgans film, but can't remember the second at all.

Saw it last night. Went with an open mind and came away having enjoyed the film. The style of the credits is fantastic, the setting in London very good and on the whole the casting excellent. I would agree the female roles were underused but maybe not miscasted given the certain amount of character introduction required for roles people are not familiar with in what is clearly going to be a series of films. All in all, a good film and one I would recommend. Not sure how long Ritchie will get away with the Lock, Stock style fighting scenes though. Hopefully that will be toned down in future films.

Trailers for Daybreakers, Clash of the Titans, and a few others that were obviously unmemorable.

Not my kind of film exactly but I LOVED it.

In the same way as The Dark Knight, it's the characterisation that made it so good. The chemistry between the two guys was perfect. I missed Jude Law whenever he wasn't on screen, and I've never been a huge fan of his.
