I was recently introduced to the BDSM lifestyle and am really curious as to how a switch is able to be dominant one minute or submissive the next ,how does it work ?What are the feelings that drive someone to want to do both .If they get in a relationship with either a dominant or submissive do they just play one role .Thanks

There is one MAIN role per person. Switching builds trust(which is key in this type of relationship), but it's only done for a short period of time, not forever.
