To all the rap/pop fans out there..do you think rapper's lyrics could be better?

what i mean is, they have months to prepare lyrics for one verse, such as lil wayne in jay sean's down, a month's work and that's all he can come up? im not just singling him out but i don't understand why some rapper's talk about shit such as having sex with woman, and then through in rnadom words just to make it ryhme :S

That's why I write and read poetry rather than rap. Rap's decisively weak wording really leaves no room for interpretation; there's nothing that you can take from rap, other than "Oh, he had sex with that girl. It was good. She was like 'uh, uh, uh.' Then they broke up." over and over again on the radio.

Not that I'm hating on rap. I like the music, but the lyrics are in vast need of improvement.

they dont want to use good lyrics because they are literally dumbing down society, purposefully, in order to make a RIDICULOUS amount of money, hence selling your soul

Yeah they could slow down on some of the innapropriate lyrics. I know this little girl who is 11 and she LOVES Nicki Minaj but she is not allowed to buy her album thats coming soon or anything because she is so innapropriate but thats whats getting them money but they still need to realize they have little kids idolizing them!
