i got into line about 3am, got the 45th out of 45 units..(i was number 47...by some miracle 2 people dropped out)


got done with that around 10am....went to a raffle another store was having and by luck won that one too.



2 wii's later, i'm glad i camped out

I wasn't planning on camping out, but drove past both best buys here around 1 am. first had about 50-60 people at it, second had 150+.

then I stayed up till 4am waiting on amazon and that never happened.
No wii for me.

I didn't have to camp out for it. I got there at 6 o'clock and was basically was the first one there. 4 hours and 120 people later. I got 3 Wii's, one for myself, one for my gf, and one to sell.

Yeah, they should have them on the shelf already, we go super monkey ball adventure, spongebob something? I can't remember, we got like 5 titles though. I asked my manager if blockbuster did research in finding out the worst titles coming out on the release date though. I wouldn't rent any of them. If i get a system I'm taking it in and trying the games out in the back room

I showed up at Target at 6:15, only 4 people in line infront of me. Target opened at 8. a 1hr 45 minute wait. Not too bad.

I went to walmart 30 minutes before they opened and I got ticket #8. Picked up a wii, 2 controllers, 2 nunchucks and cod3

Went to the local mall best buy at about 6:30. I was number 69 (har har) and the best buy had 102 Wii available since they're the only best buy within like 30 miles. Waited an hour and a half till they handed out vouchers at 8, then they let us into the store for the last little bit of the wait till they could officially open the registers at 9. Not too bad, got some sleep...got some warmth...got some Wii.

my bf preordered it, along with an extra controller and Zelda. Good thing, cuz all the stores here are sold out of controllers; he was the only person that walked out with one. So he got up at 10 this am, picked it up and came home, and we've been playing wii sports ever since. we have an all day "wii party" going on, lol.
