To all the AD and Vets The SIMPSONS on a postage stamp?

What has the us government come to? I can think of 100 things to put on a stamp well before the Simpsons. Who actually votes for this stuff ?
 
I like the Simpson's and Family Guy - great way to decompress after a mission. I could care less what they put on the stamp as long as they deliver the mail.
 
The Simpsons have been TV icons for 20 years. They deserve a stamp. I guarantee that you couldn't name "100 things" more deserving. The Post Office decides - it's not voted on.
 
I think it's fine, I have The Simpsons addreess lables! I love The Simpsons :)
