To all experienced military members preferably Army wives?

I was just wondering how does it feel when your husband/ boyfriend/ fiance comes home..? Like i want to join and fight so badly but i am concerned of just leaving my girl at home and i want to know how most people handle it, things they may feel or experience, and how the coming home feels after a year.. like is it overwhelming and easy to pick up where you left off or is it different. Idk this girl means everything to me and i will marry her in the future we known each other for years and i fully trust her and she trust me and supports me i just like i said am concerned leaving her home on her own... any experiences or advice or help please

Wives come and go. You need to live YOUR life. If your wife is for that, fine. If not, life goes on.

The only exception is if children are involved, and then it's all about them.

My wife left me during a deployment. Best thing that ever happened to me!
