TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

Would i be right in believing that Jericho is quite fond of doing the Fozzy thing quite often? If so, it could be beneficial for TNA and Jericho to form a mutual agreement.

TNA has a lighter schedule anyway, and isn't usually afraid for it's stars to take part in other projects - could be perfect for him to allow him to keep his fingers in both pies.

JCR i really think you should stop watching TNA. Your never gonna get what you want. If you want wrestling watch ROH or the japanese stuff in Japan or that cruiserweight stuff Rey Mysterio does. Don't watch TNA and i think the show has been great so far.

But how are they going to pay the extra expenses of producing shows on the road? Personally I cant stand the Impact Zone and the same crowd all the time but it makes sound business sense at the moment.

The only thing I would say for TNA to do is to have every PPV outside of the Impact Zone.

Universitys small venues with lots of advertising, tna have to take a risk. Advertising is the key too.

The impact zone looks tacky and low budget, plus most of the crowd are tourists who really dont know the tna product.

This taping 2-3weeks worth of shows must stop too, the internet spoilers damage ratings, something we see often enough when wwe tapes raw, theres always a 0.2 - 0.4 ratings dip for taped shows. Tna in theory could get steady ratings of 1.4 every week.

I only want wrestlecrap. I still think I'm going to get it. I don't really watch wrestling anymore, I've no interest in ROH.

I'm not being rude but I don't see how anyone could watch TNA remotely seriously. It makes zero sense.

And hey
Team 3D
has just brought the wrestlecrap.

yeah true in the attitude era the world title was never on the line on RAW(or Nitro for that fact)...................................................oh wait, yes it was.

the fact you even look into things like that in depth shows what a wade keller wannabe you are:confused: i feel for people liek you,i really do bob

There are ALWAYS get out clauses for both sides in television contracts, I spent god knows how long discussing this when Christopher Eccleston quit Doctor Who; if Sky don't want to show TNA, they won't, and they'll be something in the contract saying they don't have to. It makes little sense for Sky to take TNA, for a number of reasons not least WWE appear to be propping up Sky Box Office in a way TNA couldn't, so in terms of that alone it'd be best for them to keep WWE onside.

I'd be surprised if ESPN took them, because TNA cannot be credibly described as sport. Stranger things have happened I suppose.

I'd be surprised to see Y2J in TNA anytime soon, but hey who knows in this crazy industry we call wrestling.

I'd love to see him there however, he'd be a great signing and would work with the younger talent really well IMO.

But I think he'll just stick with Fozzy for now and just take a break out of wrestling.

WWE haven't treated their word championships seriously in years. Infact.......why even try to fool people that Raw and Smackdown are separate branRAB. 2 world champions? Try and explain that to someone who has just started watching wrestling, they will laugh and they are right to laugh. So it's one company but we need to pretend that it is 2 and there is 2 world champions........in the same company........but their on different shows and the person that owns the company doesn't do anything on either show because they have GMS to do all that work. Oh please don't insult my intelligence anymore. No one is gonna give that much thought into wrestling unless their already a wrestling fan. And once you wrap your mind round all that what difference does it make anyway?

And of course WWE have their PPV main event wrestlers compete in tag matches the weeks before. Of course they do. What else do you expect them to do? There is not a thing they can show me on PPV that i haven't already seen on free tv anyway. There is 3 people there that draw money. Just 3. They haven't sold out Raw and Smackdown regularly since 2002. They can't fill a 20,000 seat arena anymore. And earlier this year they did only 63,000 buys for one of their PPVs.

So Raw gets an average of 3.0 each week, that's just over 4 million people. So you have all those people watching on TV and they can't sell out a 20,000 seat arena? They get only 63,000 buying a PPV. Out of over 4 million people? So if WWE can only convince 63,000 people out of over 4 million people to buy their PPVs then what chance does TNA realistically have? Infact i don't even think it is worth TNAs time doing a PPV once a month. Why not just put all your focus in getting the TV show, only 2 hours a week to make it the best it can possibly be and build the audience that way? Why not go live once a month and put on a really good TV special?

If WWE is unsuccesful at something then TNA will be too. If WWE is good at something else then there is a good chance TNA can do it better. When it comes to inring action, characters, storylines TNA is so far ahead and WWE must be successful with those things too otherwise why would people watch? They must be doing something right? But when WWE is failing in the PPV market then things must be bad.

I think you mean TNA pulled in 152,000 in the top 10 lists for the Bravo channels reported. When you add in the other viewings that were under the top 10 rating for each channel then you are looking at a figure much higher.

Living is definitely sticking about. Did hear whispers of Challenge sticking around also, due to it mainly being a good money-maker. But that would mean that rebranding it would defeat the object.

But it's Sky. This is how they role.

Can I just ask, why were London Calling not on the ppv? I like them as a partnership, and Generation Me, are just the Hardyz lite, and are no substitute really.

My recording's fine, lasts 213 minutes and the whole show is certainly there.
Good show I thought.
Not so keen on the substitute for iMPACT! on Bravo tonight. If that's what "Reaction" is like I don't think I'll be rushing to watch it if it ever gets shown over here. Some of the "backstage" stuff was well done, but the profiles of the acts are just tedious, and have mostly been used as fillers on iMPACT! already anyway.
:)
