TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

Graveyard? 2/3am? Friday Night? (LIVE, might I add?) ;)

I think they just mean 'position' as in the UK Sports, Entertainment, Wrestling categories. I don't think they mean physical position on Bravo. More their position to negotiate with the ratings they get, and the shows they put on.

Is it good etiquette to discuss the PPV yet?

If not, I will say what I feel in the spoiler tags:-

Is it 1996, or is it 2010?? Honest question??
As that ending was almost to the T, exactly the same as the famous WCW Bash At The Beach "Third Man" storyline.

I know that in wrestling storylines get repeated, and god knows how many times Montreal has been done, but to repeat yet another famous storyline (complete with fans throwing rubbish or trash into the ring, is a bit much.

Yes, there is a new generation of fans who never got to see the 96 storyline, but unlike then, we have youtube and the like, so copying storylines is now, not a very cleaver thing to do.

Having not read the impact spoilers, I will wait and see what happens with this new faction, but if it is just yet another NWO clone, then that will be a tad on the rubbish side.

Now, as for Matt Hardy, lets get the "Time Machine" match going in TNA, between the Hardys circa 1996 (AKA Generation Me), and the Hardys 2010, as that is something that I can see TNA doing.

When they say Living TV group - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_TV_Group

They don't mean Living TV channel, their basically referencing the old Virgin Media/Flextech owned channels i.e. Bravo, Living, Virgin1/FTN, Challenge etc. as that's who the original contract was signed with.

Sky as the incumbent MUST honour the contract in place. They re-signed in january with Living Group and i believe it was a multi-year deal. So either Sky must find a new home for the exisiting programming OR buy out the remainder of the contract.

WWE's eclusivity clause, IF REAL, i would assume would only encompass channels broadcasting WWE, as opposed to all sky channels, if this is the case then SKY3 would be a possible landing spot - and a pretty cushy one IMO for iMPACT!

They do air new episodes

and FX still excludes some people people as its not a basic channel, at least its not on virgin anyway

LOL dog is like DDP's and Hogan's love child :D

in its hayday 1PW only ever sold out a 2000 seater once. since i've took over, my biggest crowed is 1000.

FWA sold out the Coventry sky dome a number of years ago (TNA didnt even manage that on there 1st UK Tour)

i seem to average about 650/700 fans per big show. but its so much harder to sell shows here in the UK as we simply don't have feasible ways to advertise. (news papers cost a fortune) Wrestling Magazines are about

DepenRAB.The production side of the Impact zone is ready and everybody has to be there for the tapings,so running a live PPV can still be financially rewarding for TNA.15,000 buys equals a monthly revenue stream of 250,000 dollars + between 20 and 60,000 dollars from DVD sales.

Again it depenRAB on the cost of running a live show.

Tough! It's already aired. ;)

Nah, i'll not say anything. :D

However, it must just be your recording, because unless i did completely zone out by hour 2, i'm certain it did actually fully air.

He's been slating TNA since before Bischoff arrived ..

For marquee value I would say that they should absolutely go all out to sign him because it would be a signing arguably as big as Angle.

It would work for sheer amusement value as well because the dirt sheets would be alive with people suddenly deciding that signing for TNA now means he's washed up, can't work, has no charisma, can't cut a promo and will get injured and retire :)

I tend to record the main broadcast, then both shows immediately after it just to be on the safe side. It helped last month because the show overran by 30 minutes into the show after it.

Really?? I remember Dixie saying something about changing that for this very PPV! Should have been available worldwide, apparently. And they introduced that On Demand thing at Genesis. Dunno if that's still going though, given the contract with Extreme is probably exclusive.

Did they? My download was fine from a DirecTV feed...

I did think it last week, when Pope said something along the lines of 'walls will come down' or something.

As said, though, couldn't physically happen, unless he has a hologramatic performance at either show. :D
