TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

This genuinely looks like TNA are trying to legitimise the writing. Sort of, making the line between fiction and reality more transparent. I'm liking it.

They always said that Bound for Glory is like the new Year for TNA. New stories, new directions, etc. Could this be what Dixies surprise is? Russo gone and more sense and shoot? I vote in favour!
 
As a viewer - not a critic - I have to admit to enjoying the PPV last night and culmination of 'They'.However,the writing and angles leading up to it have been a mixture of good,bad and plain OTT melodrama IMO.

My views are:

Hogan and Bischoff conning a naive Dixie and taking over the company is believable and puts them in their ideal role - power crazy master politicians.Likewise,Jarrett being involved is also real life believable,as is unhinged Abyss being manipulated by Hogan.

Why they screwed over Samoa Joe doesn't make sense kayfabe wise,yet it makes sense from a real life perspective due to his backstage problems.

Although shocking,Jeff Hardy turning heel doesn't make much sense and is perhaps a silly business decision.Why? The guy is a natural babyface and extremely popular with kiRAB,girls and even adult males.

RVD was the best candidate to turn - anybody remember his great heel run in 1997? It would have also been shocking.
 
TNA was a great show lot of up and coming wrestlers. Now they have the likes of Ev 2.0 join its just become full of has beens and is not good viewing
 
TNA on FX?

It's not a Sky-branded channel, it's male demo is similar to Bravo, and its programming is equally blokey.

FX is not as widely available than Bravo but it's a damn sight better than Extreme Sports.
 
Ive missed a few TNAs recently, can anyone tell me why Eric Young has teamed up with Orlando Jordan, and why is Eric acting more crazy and stupid than usual?:confused:

why do they have to find another channel when they have a signed contract with what was flextech television and is now the living tv group ?

they'll be found another channel, they won't have to do anything.

AJ has been there 8 years, no doubt about it Paul Heyman would have put him in the same category as people like Jeff Hardy, RVD, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and taken them either off TV completely or used them in other roles. Paul Heyman says wrestling isn't cool anymore, well i really don't think people like Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms are gonna make it cool again. Paul Heyman should take a good long look at the most successful perioRAB in pro wrestling history and realise the reason those perioRAB were big and the reason so many people watched wasn't because of the fantastic matches given by young talent. They loved it because of the entertainment aspect, the fact that there were things on the show you couldn't see anywhere else on TV. They tapped into popular culture.
