TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

I can almost see this thread at christmas .. page after page of endless guessing, speculation and assumption.

It's all well and good saying "watch on channel 5" for Impact, because there's no way it will happen unless Sky cancel the contract.

And if Sky are willing to pay TNA a chunk of change to do that, then fine, speculate all you like.

But until then, Impact is going nowhere, other than probably Sky 2 or 3.
 
I suppose Spike want to keep their ratings average up so they can continue to charge a certain amount for ad space.

In the grand scheme of things, TNA's rating is not that far from it's bottom rating.
 
Then perhaps then the tilte of this thread or the opening post should make it clear what members can & can not post in this thread.

But i still stand by in what i said previously.
 
Oh,don't me wrong - WCW had no choice but to give a very watered down version,but it could have been done much better than the awful 1960's Batman comic censorship.

Not that I think Five/Five USA will show TNA.They wouldn't have a 2 hour slot available for it apart from the grave yard slot.


Sky probably don't have a agreement to not show other wrestling,but a gentleman's agreement wouldn't surprise me.On the other hand, Sky probably haven't shown other wrestling in nearly 20 years because it didn't want to be accused of moving too much into being an entertainment channel.It did show Bushido/UWFI in the mid 90's and that was "fake",yet that was no threat to the WWE.
 
Reaction did a good 0.7 rating. Bravo normally has bits of Reaction in it and a few weeks ago they did show the conclusion of the Abyss/Kurt Angle cage match. And the rating Impact got in America shows people obviously enjoyed the program as they stayed with it the entire 2 hours with the highest rated segments being in both the first and second hour of the show. And as Eric said on Monday night, they will be letting the main event from Impact carry on into Reaction as often as possible. It is smart business.

In reality it is just 2 hours of wrestling. Reaction has never been promoted as a wrestling show.

As that is first and foremost a womans channel.
 
Some news updates from The Board~! at F4Wonline.com

The Hardcore Justice DVD will be two discs. TNA will not edit out fans chants of ECW as they were told by their lawyers that they do not need to. Some edits to the set are going to be done such as taking out slip ups like when Tenay and Taz said ECW.

TNA is working on a t-shirt for Dixie Carter.

TNA is being preempted next week because of the NFL. Spike felt that the first game of the year would kill them in the ratings. Spike will be showing a marathon of a show called Gangland instead.

Roderick Strong and Xavier were not offered deals as management felt they lacked charisma in and didn't play to the crowRAB enough their tryouts.

There has been talk of doing away with the Knockouts tag team titles.

UPDATE

Just found out that TNA will be on an upcoming episode of Family Feud which now tapes at Universal in Orlando and is now hosted by Steve Harvey. The taping will be this Saturday and will feature the male wrestlers vs the Knockouts. I do not know which talents will be used.
 
I've not seen the PPV thanks to my Sky box deleting it before I had a chance to watch it, and haven't seen impact, but have read the results, but can anyone answer one question.

Who was "They"?

It might have just been the site I was reading being very badly written, but I didn't understand it.
