TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

Its a shame hes hurting and i hope hes feeling better soon but him being away from TNA wouldn't be a shame, Getting bored of his "Raising the bar" promos every week.

Hype means nothing in the year 2010. All i want is a wrestling show i can enjoy and right now TNA provide that for me. There is no one they can bring in that will make my jaw drop because the fans are always one step ahead. There are very few genuine surprises left in the wrestling business.

You are a perfect example JCR. Your one step ahead. Your already looking at the free agents and your thinking ahead and thinking they will be joining TNA. Your thinking that because that is what your used to. Your used to surprises = new contracts. And there is nothing wrong with that. There are millions just like you and on the same wavelength as you. But.....that doesn't mean to say that will be the big changes TNA are talking about. Only time will tell what it is and who it involves. TNA are usually pretty good at keeping things from their storylines leaking anyway.

It's strange that it didn't work on Virgin, as I've always assumed that channels provide exactly the same EPG data to all delivery platforms, and it was fine on Sky.
Glad you finally got it anyway!
:)

JWoww is extremely well known in America just now and is in the newspapers everyday. I'm not justify what their paying her but to get someone who is as well known as she is on their TV show is not a bad idea.

Bret Hart was not a top draw in WWF. That is why Vince screwed him and i believe Vince did the right thing. Bret couldn't draw money in WWF anymore so there was no need for him to be there.

The entire THEY storyline NEVER included any young talent to begin with. It didn't matter if you were on the good guys sides or the bad guys. Everyone involved in the storyline have been in the wrestling business for a long time.

Again you want young talent to be put over? Who would you have chosen to be THEY? Would they have drawn money? Would they have made Impact a must see episode on Thursday? No they wouldn't. Trying to turn arguably the most over wrestler in the industry right now is different, fresh. No one cares about a Jarrett heel turn. Abyss has been a heel most of the year so he ain't changing. Bischoff and Hogan are great heels. Again if you think about things you will realise turning Hardy was the best move and the only one that really made sense.

If you want young guys, go to WWE. Their greener than the wallpaper on my wall. You'd love it to bits.

Fozzy has had music on TNA programming before, so they DO have a relationship. And look at how many people have come in to TNA knowing Russo, Bischoff and Hogan are in there. (Ric Flair, for example?)

It COULD happen, but I wouldn't expect it to happen until at least December/January. He'll tour some, and then who knows?

Personally, I'd get rid of Russo, Hogan and Bischoff, bring Jericho and a new head booker in, and start WORKING towarRAB becoming a decent, realistic and logical promotion that offers a TV programme worthy of anyone's 2 Hours on a Thursday/Saturday.

Of course, I'm dreaming right now. Back to EWR, I think. ;)

From a marketing point of view, we tried to book 01.10.10 for our next event, but couldn't because of pricing of the venue. We went with a binary theme, obviously with the 1's and 0's. However, 011010 didn't actually stand for anything. What they've done with 10.10.10 is clever, as it is a one-off.

I've deleted it now so I can't confirm, but I'm fairly sure it was 3 hours, 7 minutes and I know for 100% certain that when i skipped right to the very end, I saw the Pope on the runway and the recording ended.

Maybe it's just a problem on Virgin ?

I'll record it again tomorrow night ..

What i've seen so far was .. meh .. opening match with the gunns was very good. The botch-fest involving sabu was just laughable.

The Abyss/Rhino match was a huge letdown considering they've had some really good falls-count-anywhere matches in the past.

I agree with bananaman. I've said on here already that I think TNA will end up on Challenge just because TNA's official statement emphasises the company's long-term contract with the Living TV Group.

ESPN would be great but I can't see them picking iMPACT up without the pay-per-views.

Well done TNA, an episode I didn't actually skip through yet they go and cut the end off. I seem to remember they didn't cut it last time they moved over to reaction, why the hell not this time!

If anything it proves that they're still a baby and can make the stupidest of decisions. Decisions that keep killing it for me.

But how many people who know who she is care enough about her to watch a wrestling show she happens to be on? And how many of those won't be watching Jersey Shore while iMPACT is on?

Not only was Bret a big draw, he would have been an even bigger draw had WCW used him right. Everyone was talking about him after Montreal, and WCW squandered it. Even you can admit that, surely?

Jeff's heel turn might pop a rating on Thursday (we'll have to see) but he can't play a heel and I can't imagine too many people will tune in every week to see Hogan and Bischoff and Jarrett get even more screen time than they were before. It doesn't shake things up enough - we're going to see the same faces on TV and PPV, and the fact that some of them are now heels isn't enough of a novelty to draw fans in.

How long ago was it that you were criticising WWE for relying too much on Cena, Orton, Undertaker etc.?

I know you're not a wrestling fan and you have no grasp of the business whatsoever, but it should be clear even to you that pushing young guys is quite important.
