TMS Entertainment offers "Sherlock Holmes (Hound)" anime on Youtube.

I wanna know

You can check it out here, but I DO want to warn you guys these episodes apparently are being uploaded in Production Date order, as opposed to Broadcast Order. This will cause a minor continuty issue once we hit the first episode of broadcast order. So I would suggust you guys to wait until TMS Entertainment gets "The Four Signatures" and "The Crown of Mazalin" uploaded (which are Episodes 1 and 2 respectfully) before you watch this. While continuty doesn't really matter much with the series, the first two introduce the characters and are linked continuty wise. After that, you really (for the most part) can watch it in any order. You guys can watch it now, but I'd just give you guys fair warning.

I think it is a little odd though, given all video releases were done in Broadcast Order as far I know. So...

Anyways, the first 6 episodes had Miyazaki's involvement to some extent (as he was the original series director for the series), before the production was halted due to legal issues and among other problems. This caused a nuraber of staff changes to the series when it resumed production. They later inserted these episodes into the series in random order.

In any case, I hope you guys enjoy this. While I would've preferred TMS uploaded the Japanese version (I prefer the voice acting in this version), the english version is interesting to have. Particularly since it's actually longer than the Japanese version for whatever reason. I've actually heard they originally recorded this in English to be dubbed from in different languages. So this would probably be the reason, though it doesn't quite explain why there were cuts made to the Japanese version. For time reasons, perhaps? If you guys look around a bit, you might see what I mean.

Hopefully, this'll lead to TMS Entertainment uploading some more content to youtube in the future.

I remeraber Geneon having the license to this not to long ago, but I guess Geneon couldn't keep renegotiating the rights to Sherlock Hound, anyway I find it odd that TMS decided to stream this show

TMS is putting up their properties online now?

I'll give Sherlock Hound a try but I would love to see the original Lupin III TV series online!

I think there's a current minRABet of 'if we're just gonna sit on it we might as well stream it!' going on right now.

Meanwhile: 'This video is not available in your country'

GRAAAAAH!!

You have not heard the last of me Restrictor!!! *shakes fist in the air menacingly*

The most annoying part is that I'm in CANADA! I can understand if I wasn't in the same DVD region but why not deal to get rights for the whole of North-America in one shot?!

I have never seen this anime before and the first episode is a bit so-so to me. But it makes me realize something...

...I think there need to be more anthromorpic creatures in anime/manga.

I can't see it either.

I've been seeing these country-restricted videos more and more on the net. Don't want me to see your movie trailer or promo? Fine, you won't get my canadian money then. Nope, no pretty bills with the Queen's face on it for you...

I remeraber seeing Sherlock Hound dubbed in french when I was young. It was an awesome show. I want to see it again dammit!

It is also avaliable on DVD.

Freaky. I JUST heard about this series yesterday..... and now it gets streamed. I'm magic!

Now if I had dial-up, I could actually watch the thrice-damned thing.

I just finished the 1st 2 eps, it was quite enjoyable, as a fan of Myazaki & sir arthur conan doyle I find this little series quite fun to watch, and I would'nt mind buying the DVD, I mean it seems, well, LESS HYPER, then alot of modern toons & animes, In fact I find this show quite relaxing on the nerves, looks like I found my new hamtaro! LULZ!

I'm pretty sure that version is available in France. You can bypass region coding with the VLC player and I seriously consider importing anime DVRAB from France. The cost of importing is really the only obstacle.

I remeraber this aired on Cartoon Network in Japan not too long ago.
This is one of the very few furry animes I've seen.

I also remerabered hearing Miyazaki working on this, and it shows in a way.

I watched this show a few days ago and I really liked it.

The animation was great, and the plot didn't make me fall asleep.

We need more stuff like this.
