Tmobile's latest OS

Is taking my battery down on the Blackberry 8700G

I can't go 12 hours from 100% to 0% !!!

I swapped the battery with my 7105T and the 7105T is at 95% from overnight.

My only assumption is it must be the newest OS release for the 8700 as that's the only thing I've changed this week!

Any insight? Similar experiences?

I am having the same issue. I use to go all day 6a.m.-1a.m. without charging. And now by 5p.m. I'm beeping low battery.

I think I have to go back to the old OS :-\

I guess that confirms that....

I'll call Tmobile Blackberry support and rip them a little bit, maybe it will push the 4.2 release

I'm not having this issue.. I just hate this OS because when you get get a new voicemail, you don't get that little tape icon anymore and also it took out that BB Messenger alert Icon, you wouldn't know if you get a new message or friend request. So, I just look for the red blinking light.

I loaded the (.346) last night and I I'll give it a test drive also. My only issue so far is that my browser is missing. If I go to browser settings under options it says:
Default Browser configuration:
Then there is nothing. If I click on the wheel and choose Change Option, if does nothing.
I went back to the desktop manager and to choose the option to install the browser but it is grayed out. I am wondering if I am going to have to reinstall the OS again?

Just goto tmo's website and send your service books, and then options, host routing table, click the trackwheel and then select register. I've had issues like that after updating os.
Good luck!

So everyones having trouble with the latest OS? how much activity is everyone doing on their BB's? i use mine moderatly going in and out of service in my work, and i still keep atleast 65-70% charge for the day. I didnt plug it in last night cause i want to run the battery low so i can get a good charge on all cells.

Also try that, kill the battery a few times to keep all the cells working good in the phone.
