TMobile Unlock Request

ive been trying to unlock my Blackberry Pearl 8120, but Im having some trouble to introduce the unlock code to the phone... ive been following some directions but it wont show me where i have to put the code... it does read my sim card and tells me the company but it wont let me call it says ''Only Emergency Calls Allowed''

what ive been doing is this...
1. Press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to Options and press the trackball.
3. Scroll to Advanced Options and press the trackball.
4. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball.
5. Type MEPD.
6. Press and hold the Alt key and type MEP2.
Note: a box will appear asking you to enter the MEP network code
7. Type in the unlock code

the box on step number 6 is the one that doesnt shows!!

Really need some help!!!
 
On the pearl you need to type MEPPD and MEPP2 since the O and the P are on the same keys. Also when it says hold the alt key you only need to do so to get to the #2.

You need to either get the unlock code from the original carrier, or find a service online to get the unlock code. It doesn't matter which sim in is the phone, it should work with either a Tmobile sim or a non Tmobile sim. If your friend still has an account with Tmobile, or has had an account cancelled less then 3 Months ago, have them call with the IMEI number and request the unlock code. If that is not an option, or they do not meet the criteria for an unlock code you will be reserved to requesting an unlock code through an independent vendor on the internet.
