Tmobile Tap question? :(?

so ive had this phone for about a year now, for the past month it randomly turns off, or takes me to the password screen(i have a pass. lock on it)
now it randomly turned off, and i took the battery out a milllion times but this still keeps happening, even though its been 7 hours !
the phone turns on and goes to the tmobile screen, then blacks out and repeats.
