tmobile needs better service books

No bb browser with the unlocked curve is driving me insane. The work around to a lower os is not an option for me because I have issue (major) in one of the themes. So-----T-mobile update the service books to allow the browser. The vendor browser sucks in comparison!! Anyone have any pull that can shake the tree of progress?

I agree. the phone is off da chain but no BB browser drives me nuts too. I do like the fact that it has the myFaves application and it works great. i tried the Opera mini browser and kept getting "no connection" error. is your Curve an unlocked AT&T or O2 Curve?

My curve is an unlocked ATT device running on T-mobiles network. Just got off the phone with rim and they verified it's a service book issue with t-mobile. They don't have the current software package yet. The rim rep said the only option really is to wait it out. I have tried the downgrade to the O2 os and had to many problems so I an going to wait impatiently

Yea that's the only problem with unlocking and using on a network that doesn't have the device yet.
Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully soon.

Plus, when you send the service books from tmobile, it is actually coming from rim through the bis. Tmo does not really controll thoese settings.

The more I read this the more I'm convinced that it's part of the exclusivity agreement with AT&T. Anyone have any reason not to believe this?

It wasn't like this with the 8800. We had people call in to tech support at tmo and everything was fine. We have contacted rim about the issue with customers, and they turn around and send it back to us. Gotta love it!
