Tmobile gets 3g this summer!

Actually in some of the really big citys tmo has 3g this is from several tmo workers and a person that builds the towers for all the cell providers in my area but u have to have a phone that supports 3g to even know its there~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
 
I was talking to TMO rep who seemed to really know there stuff. They told me...the problem they have run into with the BOLD is that the WiFi on it is not UMA...so they need a special version made for them. They indicated a delay but he couldn't say when it would be out.
 
as i posted in a Different topic like 2weeks ago, about Tmo's 3g out coming
it will be LIVE @ the end of September, and the first phone 3g will be BOLD first gen (first drop)
and it will be in
Cali , New York , Dallas , Florida , Ohio
 
This really seems exciting I remember talking to a t mo rep a bit ago he spoke of the 3G conversion and he was a BB user as well,but he wanted t mo to buy the android, anyone know what's the deal with that? I don't wanna switch just curious. I guess i gotta start saving up for the BOLD lol

I know that my area is going to be slow on getting 3g, and Im fine with that. If the bold is release somwhere outside of my area and they get UMA operational, then I'll take a little roadtrip and pick one up.
 
its google's new mobile OS that they are developing. You should do a search on google(more info) and also look at some videos about 'android os' on youtube.
 
I am wondering where in Florida. Obviously major markets, Orlando, Miami, etc...but I do know that the County I live in Alachua County (Gainesville)...is the only area that is not a major market where ATT has 3G. The reason, I am guessing is the University of Florida. It would make business sense for TMO do go head to head with ATT here...I say because I want a BOLD
