Tmobile cancelling contract?

I started a t mobile contract in July 2010. I was suppose to be paying £30 a month for unlimited texts and internet and 300 minutes.

Every month since having the contract I have been charged well over £30! Usually around £80 and when I question them about it they always have an excuse for the extra charges.

I have exceeded my limit once and the bill came to £270. An advisor rang me and suggested I up my monthly tarrif to £40 per month so that I do not do this in the future, this would mean 1200 mintues. She also had my bill re assessed so that I only had to pay £70 towards it. Which I did.

Since then I had a bill through for £90. I did not exceed my limits. I rang them to complain and they saiud this was the tarrif switch over charges?! They also informed me I was on a £50 a month tariff, when I had agreed to a £40 a month tariff!

My next bill came through and it was £340!!! Again I have not exceeded my limits.

I have not yet paid the £90 or the £340 because I have not exceeded my limits. I have cancelled my direct debit with them and transferred all my money into another account.

I want out of this contract! I am a student and live on £60 a week, I do not have a job. My original tarriff worked out as £7.50 per week so I could afford that, however I can harldy afford the higher rate tarriff and I do not have the money to pay these huge bills.

Does anyone know what I can do? And what will happen if I tell them I cannot pay it? I do not want to be taken to court of have bad credit rating.
