Ok... here's the plan... there is going to be 5 options for texting...
$4.99 400 SMS/MMS per line on any plan
$9.99 1000 SMS/MMS per line on any plan
$9.99 Unlimited SMS/MMS per line on MyFaves plan ONLY
$14.99 Unlimited per line on any plan
$19.95 Unlimited SMS/MMS for entire family plan up to 5 lines.

So nothing is going anywhere this is a further enhancement of the MyFaves offering... You MUST have a MyFaves plan to take part in this promo...

Oh and this won't be available til the 18th... So don't call in to ask about it because they won't know or acknowledge it until then.
 
they (my corp. rep and company) hasnt givin full details about it, but there will be specials across the board for all the different plans.... just dont know what they are right now, I would imagine they would go down, I'm just not sure to what.
 
Thanks - you are always a great source for TMO news! I am moving the family to TMO from Sprint today so I will mark my calendar to remind me to check the prices on the 18th to see if I need to change my messaging plan!
 
The information came out late yesterday afternoon. There are no specials for families it appears. Only that it's already cheaper than most of the other companies. Verizon and Cingular charge $30 I believe. So T-Mobile still has to have a healthy profit margin and while $10 or something for families would be nice again I just don't think it's ever going to happen. Like I stated before when I listed all the plans that is what will be available on the 18th. $4.99/$9.99/$9.99/$14.99/$19.95... Please read earlier in this post for the corresponding amounts.
 
just got the $9.99 promo for unlimited messaging and another thing if you send/receive a mms/sms with ##########@tmomail.net

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~wow! All this over a few bucks? Unlimited is well worth the price at tmo! I do about 4000 text messages a month, this includes all the alerts that I get, so price is no object. Plus it is better to pay for unlimited than to text like crazy and go over! So the best way to "save" is to pay for unlimited.
 
Ok just got off the phone with a tmo manager from Florida (husbands boss) and the $9.99 is for families, it does exist, the problem is with customer service, they don't have the update or the correct code. An email was sent out to all tmo employees this morning to let them know it is being worked on. Give it a few days before calling in. This is for existing customers also, with the myfaves.
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I was told by my tmo rep/friend to wait a few days until it is in the system and customer service has the code to add it correctly to the account. I am going to control myself and not call until Friday! Not going to be easy but I know they are being slammed with questions!
 
so just to be clear...if you currently have a MyFaves plan, I can get UNLIMITED MESSAGES to ANYONE for $9.99, not just my MyFaves people, right?

just making sure it is not $9.99 for unlimited messages ONLY TO YOUR MYFAVES people.
