TMo Really Did it THIS TIME!

Ok... super long story 1/2 way short here...

So I've been with TMo for around 5 years now and recently I had to send in my old 8700g and get a new one b/c something was acting funny with it after some downloads I did. Anywaaaaayyyyy..... I got the replacement 8700g and well to my suprise today on my phone bill....

$400 DAMN DOLLARS!!!!

WTF?! Well 'WTF' is a wonderful WARRANTY VOID CHARGE for WATER DAMAGE.... So pissed as hell, I call TMo. Talked to 3 diff. people... BB reps, managers, tech support... no one that really gives a sh*t & pretty much and NO ONE would reverse the $100 charge b/c they said it's 'LEGIT'... ok...TMo... send me the damn phone WITH PROOF of WATER DAMAGE so I can see that I'm not getting totally screwed by you guys again. Then TMo has the audacity to tell me that they've given me around $800 worth of credit in the past few years towards things. They then had the nerve to say that I threatened to quit my service with them before and such... Well yea, a customer's gonna do that when they keep getting di*ked around and charged a sh*tload of money. As the manager was reading off things noted on my account I noticed that CSR's like to "alter" situations b/c atleast 2 of the circumstances on my account were a call by TMo... NOT me... but yet I got screwed cause of it.

Needless to say... I am done with TMo... You know... $100 damn dollars to a large, over priced phone company should matter to them to reverse, but it DOES affect a customer. Especially one w/o a job and one that's been loyal for 5 years!!! So to anyone at Cingular, Verizon or Spint that wanna put a nice offer to me... by all means, please do. Or *IF* TMo would actually like to help me with this... that would be nice too...

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I had the same thing happen to me several times.

First they kept upping my bill last year because they kept losing payments. I eventually won this battle after 4 months and having to prove my mom paid my bill. I was unable to at the time. That was just one of many billing and service issues I dealt with.

They also tried to say I didn't return several phones about 2 years ago. My dad works for the post office and I knew the regular UPS carrier who delivers in my area. Got those charges wiped off my account.

Last year they charged me $100 for a 7105t that had a USB port loose. They told me it was because of water damage that occured during shipment back to them (they say the sticker turned pink when it was white when I sent the phone back). I never get my phones wet. I guess they got the clue that I don't get my phones wet cause I sent a second 7105t back with a broken trackwheel and an upgraded OS on the phone.

Other than this they have treated me really well in nearly 4 years.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~sorry to hear that but all big companies are like that. I like tmo best. Moved from at&t to sprint(oh man they suck) been here with tmo for a year. I'm not saying I don't believe u.

Erica - Right now i am asking tmo for proof and ya know what... they said they can't proove it.
How can they honestly justify charging this w/o keeping record of proof. As a consumer I have a right to dispute charges and they can't proof charging me this. No one there will take care of this matter and its total bs cause the water damage never happened!!!! So... letter to customer relations... for now, till I see fit taking it further. This is just rediculous...

Well you know what from now on we should take pictures of the phone that we have to send back to them because like crystal said they can't give her proof so why should she have to pay. Tmobile is really tripping, so if the phone gets wet on the ay back to them I still have to pay for it, they some fools on that.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I only found out about the water damage charge after going to TMobile and asking them when I went to pay the bill. They wouldn't let us talk to anyone to get the charge cleared.

As far as the late bills they tried to slap me with...I saved all of my bills after they had been paid and faxed them.

I hope your situation gets taken care of. If you need to vent, I'm available. Pin is in my signature.

man... this is serious B.S..... t-mo better get their crap figured out. I had a very nice friend of mine pay the whole bill off for me cause I couldn't at the time and the phone was gonna get shut off. TMo better not see that and say... "well you paid it..." or I'll tell 'em I want the $100 credit towards next bill!!!

Man that's good but like I said sooner or later t-mobile is going to get in trouble cause they messin over their best customers.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
My water damage indicaters turned red a few months after I bought my BB. Sounds like a common issue.

I agree. Ice had nothing but bleepin problems with the customer service since I signed up with them. For instance when I signed up they sent me my 2 phones one with the right area code and 1 with the wrong area code. So when I called too switch it I ended up getting billed for for the wrong number. I fought and fought but it didn't matter. _uck TMOBILE!!!!!!!!

Wow... everyone... send your complaints here... I'll print this "book" off and mail it to 'em!!! They they can see everyone they piss off everday!!! HAHAH!!! I hope the CS Reps read this...
Attention CS Reps:: when I call... just direct me to a manager or the CEO. Someone that can ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS cause ALL of you keep saying you CAN'T! LOL!

yeah no doubt i was 4yrs deep and they keep over charging me till one time i get back from being out to sea, at 60,000 miles you cant get no signal trust me well atleast on my phone, and they got me for 600 when i got back i was like what, and the only reason i got out of it was i had prof i was away from land after that my bills were on point!! i think they must of noted my account with some code word for dont mess with this one he can back it up!! so now i am with cingular and my bill is on point!! so they lost me after that.. more out of fear than anger really, oh and did you know that your responsible for your phone eventhough it gets stolen!! just read up on this the ohter day i will post link later, if your phone is stolen and they decide to rack up a nice phone bill, you are responsible for paying every penny up until you called in!!! no lie i almost velcrod my damn phone to my hand!!they are not only making billions of dollars off us but finding political angles to squeez the rest out!!! man no love!!

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ Here is another thread from last year about my problems as well as a few other stackers. http://blackberryforums.rabroad.com/1867-angry_tmobile_customer-3.html
