I just got off the phone with TMO because my UMA minutes that are supposed to be free on the Hotspot $9.95 plan were being billed as minutes used. I noticed this on my last bill when our minutes went over our limit and now on my current bill they are showing up the same as used minutes. The TMO rep said that this was a well known problem they are having right now and are trying to resolve it. So, I would advise that if you are on the Hotspot plan, that you check your bill carefully and see if your UMA minutes are being applied as used minutes. Be prepared to wait for a fix, my ticket won't get resolved until Sept 22nd or later. I made sure that the rep added bonus minutes to all the phones on our family plan so we would not go over again until the issue has been resolved.
