Will my tmo blackberry will work in the bahamas sending/receiving emails

I don't think that they have GPRS coverage there, so probably not. Call 611 and ask a service rep for sure.

Get the International World service plan (free) from T-Mobile. When you get to the Bahamas, your GSM phone will automatically (I believe) search for local service providers. You pay a slight roaming charge. I was there last March and had no problem having service.
