Tmo and Gmail

How do I block incoming e-mail from my own email address? I assumed it was something I could do online on the Tmo site, but I can't find anything. Am I missing something? I hate receiving every personal email I send out.

You need to set up a filter to stop this from happening. Here are the steps from Stacker Likefre:

For the copy of sent emails issue:
Quick fix: You can set a rule or filter on the blackberry account. Log on to your blackberry account.
a) Select "filters" on the account is doing this
b) Select "Add Filter"
c) On the filter name, choose any name you want
d) On the "Apply filter when" field, select "From" field
e) On the "contains" field, put your email adress
f) Select "Do not forward messages to handheld" and click save

No, you have to do it in your gmail options

you do it from your Blackberry management under the Gmail settings - add a filter like above. Search this forum I've posted screenshots on how-to to guide you on it!

log into My-Tmobile account. Scroll to the bottom and you will see it have a spot about BlackBerry Email, like this:


Click on the Setup Blackberry Internet E-mail, click edit for the email account you wish to setup the filter on (the one you get your own 'sent' messages from), and Add Filter
