In the TMNT Universe which you guys are major TMNT fans & me too, I just discovered on wiki that they did an awesome TMNT anime called Superman Legend which is about the turtles acquiring the Mutastones from Crys-Mu by having the ability to transform into awesome Super Turtles:D & even Shredder & his minions Bebop & Rocksteady use the Dark Mutastone to transform into awesome Supermutants which their new designs are soooo awesome:eek:, but it's a 2 episode OAV since I wish there were more episodes to it though & that everybody's favorites RatKing & Leatherhead would of shown up to acquire the superpowers like them to make it sweet:p and it would of been good for it to be licensed to the US too.

Devil Shredder was so awesome & Bebop & Rocksteady were alot sillier in the Japanese anime than their original 80s counterparts.

Dark Mu is so an awesome villainess next to Shreeka,Tempesstra,& Viral which most dark haired bad chicks represent darkness.

But man, so many popular shows becoming Japanese anime like Highlander, Transformers, Powerpuff Girls, G.I.Joe Sigma 6, Sonic the Hedgehog, & even BATMAN:eek: which is so awesome.

Well, I will say this... Turtles needed more female villains in the original series. Most kicked butt and where far more of a threat :).

BTW, not to get off topic, but anyone know who did the voice of Shrieka? At times she sounds like Captain Janeway, but when she 'Shreeks' she sounds like that lady from the first Casper movie..

Yes, I've heard of the DTV. No, I don't like it.. I don't like any of Japan's "re-imaginings" of American franchises. They're completely different from what made the original versions great, but I guess you could argue it wasn't too different from the 80s cartoon which was already cheesy. Give me the 2003 Turtles series anyday.

Well, I just finished watching it. I have to say, it's actually pretty good. I like really dig Shredder's design. Althougj, 2003 design is still better in my book.

Shredder's design is a bit bizzare. I don't know why they didn't just make him like the 80s toon but I guess it's okay... It's kind of like if Super Shredder was drawn into the 80s toon but in a comical fasion.

The guy who did Shredder's voice for the fandub really impressed me. He sounded better than the stand-in the old toon used when Uncle Phil wasn't available to record Shredder's lines.

This is the worst thing to ever happen to the franchise. They took all the worst parts of the old series, added in the most generic anime cliches they could, and still made it boring as hell. The bottom rung of the entire franchise. Hands down.

And I know all about Next Mutation.

Yeah, that's what I liek to mention. The fandub actors are really good especially Shredder's fandub actor, his imitation of James Avery is very well done.

Also, one question, does Eastman and Laird know about the Anime?
