TMNT: BttS Talkback: Episode 7.03: "Something Wicked" (Spoilers)

hopefully they send him back next episode because i hate that character. either that or take him apart and use him for reverse engineering much like with that transcendental machine.

My question concerning Serling is, if he's now in the past (our present), who's looking after Cody? His parents are dead in 2105, and he's clearly not under the care of Darius Dunn anymore, so without Serling around, is Cody a ward of the state now?

That's true, and Dunn is out there, he probably knows Cody is with out his main defense anymore (Serling is Turtle 2 after all) and He is surly going to strike.

yet this can be quickly remidied by sending Serling back to the future mere moments after he left. However Time travel is not an exact science in the Turtles world as they were sent back a year after they left and not the same moment. It may not be that easy.

He probably will. Dons been too busy trying to rescue Splinter that hes not focusing on building another Time Window. Due to the the present day technology he has to use it might not even be possible to build one or atleast a perfect one.

And like I said many times before I think the writers brought Serling along with the turtles simply to leave Cody defenseless thus setting up Darius and the Dark turtles as next seasons villians. It doesnt look like Serling will be doing much this season.

I'm pleased that after seven seasons, the writers have not made the shredder any easier to take down, something that often happens with long-running programs. He whips the Turtles just as badly as he did back in 2003. Also pleasing is that despite this being a cyber world, the Turtles still have to fight hand-to-hand - their weapons don't release energy pulses or any of that silly Fast Forward stuff.

Pretty straightforward "toy-etic" episode, and I do agree I'd rather see more NY stuff than cyberspace, or at least a more gradual blending of the two.

Agreed; I was hoping for more continuity with Fast Forward, but that didn't happen. While the reappearances of Bishop and Stockman were good, why not at least hint at what happened to the Foot by 2105?

I had assumed Karai used the worms on his corpse to regenerate his body. Are you implying that the e-copy of Ch'rell was used in addition?

Maybe she held hope of retrieving her father? With Triceraton and Federation technology available even in Season 4, long after "Exodus," it's possible she could rebuild a spaceship. [A transmat is another possibility, but how would Karai get one?]

Was the footage of Karai placing Ch'rell into his Shredder suit one example? I had thought it was new animation but did not understand why the show did not use Karai's new look.

The entire building was vaporized. I doubt there would be much left of Ch'rell if he hadn't found a way out of it.

And why on Earth does everyone hate Serling so much? Practically every sarcastic line that leaves his mouth is hilarious, I think. I found myself laughing at him more than any other character in Fast Forward.
