TMNT: Back to the Sewers Pre-talkback

So, it looks like the turtles will have pupils in the real world, but when they're in the Cyber World, they'll go back to having no pupils.

Sounds like a fair trade to me.
 
Even in the new design Raph doesn't look taller or bigger, just out or proportion.

I like the splinter design, too. Excited to see this new series. Are they really gonna air in august? Feels like they're just gonna run short on episodes again like Fast Forward did.

I rather like it. I've missed seeing Casey go out with the TMNT and fighting, he's had such a minor role the last two seasons that seeing this again is refreshing.

It seems he's going for a stealth approach too to blend in with the night.
 
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that Raph is now the same height, but also buffer than the other guys :).

I will say it once again, though. I HATE cheap (or as some call it, 'stylized') looking animation. If the show makes it to the 25th anniversary, please go back to Season 1 animation..
 
Well Ninja Turtles 2 did inspire the designs for Tokka and Rahzar, and even the 87 series had them in an ep together, although much smarter. As for the August date for it, why not? The last "new" ep that came out was Zixxth Sense, and that was October of last year. Why wait for 2009 to have the new season, unless they want to do the same thing with Ninja Turtles that Fox is doing with 24 and ABC's doing with Lost by taking a year off.
 
I believe Dan said the new season will start in September, although 4kids might want to "preview" the first episode in August or something.

This is only a 13 ep season, so 4kids is going to run out of eps fairly quickly if they air them ahead of time.
 
Are we going to see classic Shredder, or are we only going to see Cyber Shredder. Also, will TMNT BTTS be the last season of TMNT? Is this it?

News flash, most people don't care because they'd rather be entertained than concern themselves with something as retarded as cartoon nationalism.
 
I don't think it's going to be the last season, but who knows what the next one will be like if their is one.

Man we seem to be getting a lot of stuff for such a short (Half the size of the others) season. I hope it's not too cramed.
 
Yeah, I doubt that 4Kids would have this be the last season. I agree that they would want to keep it at least until another movie comes out and possibly beyond that. It all depends on what 4Kids wants to do with the series.
 
Have you seen some of the things these people say? I personally don't care about it, but a LOT of those hardcore comic fans really hate anime and everything to do with it.

There was a terrible backlash to Teen Titans designs before the show started, it was only once people watched it and discovered that the show was really good were the anime-designs for it were accepted.

Some of these people are die-hard comic fans for over 30 years and they were never keen on this "anime invasion" that started in the 90's.
 
Actually, I'm kind of warming up to the new designs. I'm looking forward to this season... even if I don't get the CW.



Do they have "Insane in the Membrane"?
