TMNT: Back to the Sewer Talkback: Episode 7.13: "Wedding Bells and Bytes" (Spoilers)

Probably but you never know. After all the decompiler never destroyed Viral just weakened her both times it was used and cyber Shredder is more powerful then Viral. he may just be in a weakened state right now.
This was actually a pretty good series finale if thats what it indeed is.

I like how all the major villains in the series got closure:

- Utrom Shredder, still exiled on the ice asteroid. May be frozen or dead by now
- Demon Shredder, he is killed
- Cyber Shredder/Viral, defeated in the finale
- Mystic Foot, they were killed in the Ninja Tribunal
- Karai, she has left the Foot and turned to good
- Dr. Chaplain, he is Karai's possible husband now
- Bishop, became president of the Earth in FF and is good
- Baxter, reformed in FF and will get a new body off-screen
- Hun, got the crap kicked out of him by Cyber Shredder
- Khan, defeated and most likely sent to jail at the end of the ep
- Rat King apparently is still in a period of figuring himself out
- Sid, reformed and turned to good
- Ultimate Ninja, now a boy with his father
- Draco is dead
- Savanti was killed by that lightning bolt in the prehistoric
- Zangramon/General Blanque in jail and Traximus reformed the Triceratons
- Nano is part of the Justice Force
- Garbageman...hopefully dead at the bottom of the sea...lol!
- Touch and Go, just mercenaries, were defeated in last appearance
- Jammerhead and Triple Threat went to jail.
- Inuwashi Gunjin reformed and became good
- Shokonobo is dead
- Torbin Zixx just cons people in the future, shady but not a true villain
- Zukko, just a mob boss the Turtles defeated
- Viral, see Cyber Shredder

- We can also assume Serling gets sent back to Cody off-screen at the end of the episode.

- The 3 Shredder's is apparently an alternate universe, or at least we can say that for the time being.

- The Elite Guard were disbanded, although Khan was likely one of them.

- The only thing that is left hanging is Darius/Dark Turtles in the future.

Well I will say they handled the villains nicely in terms of closure.

Well guys there's supposed to be a 3 part OVA to completely close teh series coming soon so the three shredders may still come in contact, we may see serling go home and other questions we want will probably be answered as well. we just dont know when that OVA is gonna air yet.

1. It already aired last Saturday, Feb. 28. It'll probably be on the 4Kids.TV website in about a week.

2. No one knows if this is truly the final episode or not. No new episodes have been announced, but there's also been no official word that this is the end.

Read the previous posts. Karai showed up as a guest at April and Casey's wedding, accompanied by Dr. Chaplin. And FTR, the "robot guy"'s name is Serling.

One good thing I can say about 4kids, the online streaming episodes is the best thing they ever did.

I can't believe they have all 155 episodes of TMNT streamed online for anyone to catch up on the series, including all those shorts.

I must commend them for that.

Their streaming site is probably the best thing about them. They are quick with their streams they stream just about every episode and they don't remove their streams from time to time like other companies. I was surprised that they even streamed "Insane in the Membrane" Kind of shows that they would have aired it if Fox had let them.

I was watching this episode again and I realized that this image was not the only time that the two were shown in the episode. They were around during the entire fight. This made it more interesting that Karai had no real interaction given that this Shredder's personality is supposed to be the same as the Shredder that she viewed as her father.

Like I said before, I believe this is mostly to prevent the episode being dominated by yet another rehashing of Karai's issues. Still, allow me to present a theory.

My theory on the matter is that Karai knew from the start that the Shredder had returned (after all, this episode proves that she's been communicating with the turtles on some level, so its not hard to believe that she would not have been told of the events surrounding the Foot) and had decided not to treat him as her father. After all, while the Shredder may live on in some form, her father, Oroku Saki--which is who Karai really cares for--is, for all intents and purposes, dead--heck, we don't even know if the physical Cyber Shredder is even flesh, as opposed to whatever Viral was whenever she had a body. Plus, I get the feeling that this newest incarnation of the Shredder would probably aim to kill her for her perceived insubordination--given that she had to have played a role in disbanding the Foot--and more importantly, that Karai knew this.

So for those of you who have been watching this show for 6 years and have seen every episode, are you content with this episode being the very possible final episode of the entire series?

We know there's a DTV coming, but we don't know if it actually fits into continuity with this series.

So aside from that, are you content with the show as a whole ending right here? There are still plenty of stories from the comics they never adapted into episodes, and I feel the show could have gone on a bit longer.

I am content with this last episode, at any rate, but I still feel like it could have gone on one or two more years at least.

This was both an awesome episode and my favorite season finale in the entire series so I'm content. Sure, a season or two more would have been great but pretty much all the show's loose ends are tied up so there's nothing to really complain about. Although one day I hope some scripts or episode summaries for FF season 2 are released online.

Not really. Then again, I think it would have been best to end it back at the end of season 3, or season 4 with some rewriting on it's ending. After that, the series started to pander out and get weaker every season, opening loose ends as it went out.

Given the hints that were dropped a few months back on another board about the script/audio for Nightmares Recycled eventually being released, this is always a possibility as well.

As a guest, which was indicated by the previous posts. Pay particular attention to post #65.

The episode's up on the 4Kids website; why not just watch it?

While I did miss some episodes in either season three or four, I'm pretty content if this does turn out to be the last episode of the series. If the writing improved a bit more, or the pacing, I could see it getting another season or two, but I'm still pretty happy with what we got in this episode. If a new season comes along at one point, that's great and if it doesn't happen, that's great too. Either way, I'm pretty much fine with what the series already has and with this possibly being the finale to the series.
