Oh boy, when your second to last episode is a Green Lantern parody, you know the writers thought this show was going to go on for another season.

Poor Mikey, always being left in the dust.

Welp, according to next week's episode preview, we'll be having a big cast reunion, as well as Khan returning. No sign of Cyber-Shredder, though. I REALLY hope he doesn't end up being a dangling plot thread, too, but knowing Ninja Turtles, I'm sure he will.

If we got just one more 13 episode season, it wouldn't matter. This show really needs one more season just to properly wrap it up.

BTTS was written as if it was going to last 26 episodes, not 13. It really does feel uneven if it ends with next week. Its a damn shame that it didn't get 26 eps like FF.

As long as next weeks episode does not end with Karai finding the location of the Utrom Shredder in the last minute of the episode as a Cliffhanger I will be happy. Yes I actually fear that will happen.

How so? I don't see the connection.

Anyway, I missed it because I set the timer on my VCR to record the episode at 6:30am (which is when the DirecTV on screen guide said it would air), but my local CW affiliate ran the episode an hour later, so I slept right through it. I'll have to catch this one in reruns. Too bad for me. I enjoy watching superhero parody episodes.

If the writers thought this was the last season, I doubt they'd make the second to last episode another Turtle Titan filler. There are other plot-centric points that could have been done.

Its as I said, BTTS was written as if it was going to get at least 26 episodes, not 13.

I guess we'll see what happens next week.

I don't remember if it was Raph or Mikey who said about them taking down Shredder, but they should've remembered that he's not so easily killed. Anytime they assume he's dead, he comes back. Let's count the times.

- He gets crushed by a watertower
- He gets decapitated by Leo
- He survives the TCRI building implosion
- He survives the Foot tanker being sunk
- He invades their 2nd lair, only to find out that he is really a she since Karai took over the role as Shredder

I'm pretty sure it'll be up at 4KidsTV.com along with the other 11 episodes that are up already from this season. So you definitely have options to still see it.

CW4Kids.com has the first 1/3 of next week's episode up. I just got done watching that. I really won't be all that disappointed if next week's episode does end up the final episode. This has been my least favorite season. I actually enjoyed the Fast Forward season more than this one.

This was obviously a transition season. If the first ep was any indication, it was build-up for what would have been an arc about 3 Shredder's, which will now never come to pass. I doubt that was meant to be an alternate reality or something.

I really enjoy how within this TMNT universe they've crafted their own superhero legacy, and continue to add to it with each episode. Despite this not being part of the main storyline, it was a good time.

One thing I won't miss when this show ends though, is Mikey and his childish attitude. This incarnation of Mikey gets more juvenile with each season.

Fast Forward at least got one consistent vision, whereas this season just seems torn between being fan-friendly and toy-friendly.

Not a bad episode but this should not be the second to last episode of the season/series. Even if there is more Turtles the second to last episode of a season should not be like this. I kind of miss the multi part season finales this show once had.

Agreed, it does seem strange a filler ep would be the second to last ep.

They never really did something like this before. I am starting to fear the finale will end with a cliffhanger...

Serves the gits right. I hate to sound mean but rule 101 of Television is "know that a show can be canceled at any time." I'm not in the biz but even I could have told them that. Even worse is that this happened to them with Fast Forward and they still didn't learn their lesson.

If the next episode ends with a cliffhanger I'm going to laugh at them for being so foolish and cocky. And if its revealed the Shredder Wars was the plot for season 8 I'm going to laugh at them again for writing so many filler this season.

Now about the episode, I liked it. One of the better Turtle Titan episodes even if it was a semi-rehash of the last one.
