Episode 7.08 Web Wranglers
Original air date: November 8, 2008

Previously on Back to the Sewer: April, Casey and Serling joined forces to save our four favorite heroes after Khan reprogrammed them to work for the Foot.

This week, on Back to the Sewer: Cyber Shredder attmepts to create a portal that will allow him to venture from cyberspace into the real world. Can the turtles shut down the portal before the Cyber Shredder gets physical?

They had yet another Channel 6 reference, and not a made up one like April and Casey's from season 2. Shredder doesn't take a physical form, but he might by the end of the season, or in the next few eps because
the last 3 titles over at TV.com mention him gaining a physical form and controlling the Foot since it's a 3 part saga called "City Under Siege", although it's unknown if it'll be similar to "City at War".

This ep reminded me a lot of season 4, but with much more interesting mutant hunting. And Mutant Cyber-Shredder was pretty cool. Looks like he'll have to come up with another plan to enter the real world.

Yes! I was certain that I was the only person who thought that. So I wasn't gonna even bother putting that down.

I don't know about this show anymore though. When I found out that they were going to be doing this season, I figured that the show would be like it was during the first 5 seasons (season 5 being the lost season). But this entire season has felt just like a continuation of Fast Forward. If they do any more seasons of this show after this, I don't know if I'm gonna even bother to watch the show anymore. I would much rather see one or two sequals to the TMNT movie than watch this anymore.

I found this one a little heavy on the cyberspace stuff...it's been fine in the previous episodes, but between the cyber dart-guns and overload of pseudo techno-jargon to explain how the shredder can enter the real world, it got a little much for me. Maybe there just wasn't the usual amount of classic butt-kicking to balance things out.
