Episode 7.05 Hacking Stockman
Original air date: October 18, 2008
Written by Joe Kelly

Previously on Back to the Sewer: Casey proposes to April. April accepts. Viewers go "awh..." Hun appears. Viewers are happy that Hun sounds cool again.

This week, on Back to the Sewer: The Purple Dragons fight the New Foot, Donny returns to cyberspace, and Baxter Stockman finds himself a bit out of sorts. More than usual, I mean.

Was a pretty good episode with a really rushed conclusion, but this show has always ended rather abruptly.

I wonder why the Purple Dragons and the Foot are righting? It sounds like Khan leads them so where is Karai?

It'll be sad if this is the last season, with every new ep I really like the new animation style more and more.

Hun is the last person Stockman would work for willingly after all Hun is the one responsible for Stockman's current situation. besides stockman is suppose to still be in the employ of Bishop, well lets see.

This episode was fun if you look past the continuity errors I liked Shredder taking over Stockman's body and his makeshift Shredder suit he put together in a minute. Shredder begging for the Turtles to help him was fun. Yet I still can't look past Stockman A working for Hun willingly, working as a criminal and not working with Bishop. Something is wrong here, a plot hole, a huge one.

It had some good dialog, Mikey was less annoying and it's starting to look like Leo Raph and Mikey do care about Splinter but they realize they still have to deal with the outside world to. That Yeah Splinters gone and they can save him but if they focus all their time on splinter like Don is doing the side will be destroyed and splinter would not want that. Raph had a good line about them being the worst ninja ever, Stockman's bickering was fun too.

Still I have to give this episode a 3/5 for the errors I can't over look. maybe something happened in the year the Turtles were gone that got Stockman out of Bishops employ and what not, but i can never see Stockman working for Hun Willingly and for those to act civil with each other? No way.

Oh my guess is karai leads the normal foot soldiers while Khan leads the "Cyber" foot.

Stockman working w/ Hun is a serious stretch considering their history.
I watched up to last ad break. How did they defeat the Shredder?

Baxter got a connection to Donnie who was in cyberspace (who was trying to get the bits of Splinter) saying that if he didn't sever the connection between Cyber Shredder and his body, his brothers would die by using a video feed to show him.

Stockman teaming up with Hun isn't impossible (Hun could easily say he was just following Shredder's orders), but it does raise questions as to whether he's still working with Bishop, and if he is why Bishop would let him roam free and make these side deals. The makeshift Shredder armor is hilarious - I didn't think the Shredder would care much for personal style, but apparently he's not quite the Shredder unless he has his helmet on :p

I like how the cyberspace side was integrated into this episode - though Donny defeated Cyber Shredder a bit too easily for my tastes. It's nice they've addressed his guilt - you can only have Donny moping about for so long.

And we've got another toy tie-in - the black outfits are lifted from the mini-mutants figures.

They did have Hun and Baxter working together when it was obvious Shredder favored Karai and Chaplin over them back in Season 3, and even attempted to kill the two, but were found out when their successors survived.

Karai and Dr. Chaplin must be off living happily ever after. I have to repeat what I had a said a couple episodes back, what's with the same old villians again? Is this 2003? Shredder, Hun, and Stockman? I mean seriously let's see more Master Khan. Or throw in someone new like Antoine Puzorelli or King Komodo and Warlord Go-Komodo. We had 5 seasons of Shredder, Hun, and Stockman. At least Fast Forward was giving us something new.
