[TL, SCC, RevTT, FTN, ScT] Best general purpose/0day tracker?

I took the stats right from both trackers.

I wasn't implying TV has better pretimes than SCC overall, but that the latter may find themselves needing to improve them in the future, if a tracker that was relatively unknown until recently is already "rocking" them a bit. Not that I care about pretimes anyway.

There are fewer seedboxes, but the speeds are generally decent. On a new torrent, I'll usually get around 1-2MB/s, but if that uploader has just posted several other torrents, it might be 500kB/s. Yet my upload is usually at 3-4.5MB/s for the first few hours of downloading/seeding, so I'm sure most of the faster lines are maxing out. I tend to get lower download speeds because most of the OVH boxes are doing their internal thing at first. Since I rarely watch a movie within a month of downloading, it hardly matters. If download speed is all that is important, just wait for it to pop up on usenet, which I've done at times.

I don't know how old you're going back or in what categories, but I think in terms of HD content, which is all I browse, the site has very respectable retention. For example, I saw the oldest release of The Hurt Locker still has 40 seeds from 11 months ago. The activity on HD content is far above average for most sites and I think that might make it a better site for HD folks than it is for xvid users.
 
Well, what I meant is that idc much about the torrent seeding at 100kb/s, instead of 500kb/s. Yeah if it's seeding at 10kb/s pretimes are useless.

I'll have a look at TL first, I guess I'll be done with that one.
 
I would say SCC and revtt and you have anything you need :)
SCC is best for everything else but revtt have lot of xbox 360 games.
You should remember that scc is not easy place to keep good ratio :D

Because it has a higher level. :dry:

If you're downloading from home, TL and/or IPT would be the way to go - speeds are great and they're really easy to seed on. If you have a seedbox, you may like SCC, which has better pretimes (not the best ones, though - TV wins against them on a constant basis) and lots of other seedboxes.

I would say SCC and its easy to maintain ratio with all those freeleech packs. Next i would put revtt and tv as a tie. TV may pretime a bit faster but revtt has more leechers. If u have a slow connection then gft might be your best bet. Tough to get into though. I was on PTM but found shows were taking 30 minutes to download with 1 seeder stacked up.
 
scc is the best for scene stuff, and TL is a good supplement to it because it is probably the best tracker that has scene and non-scene. but the problem with TL is too many people have been getting letters from using TL.

So i'd go with revtt or ipt as my backup to scc. if you want an even bigger breadth of content, then look at torrents.ru and zamunda (currently only available by proxy in most locations)
