TL account disabled

I've been told there's a certain amount of time after you're disabled where you can recover the account without donating. After that, it's either shelling cash out or nothing.

Oh well, I guess those bills aren't going to pay themselves.

with a tracker as big as tl, i'm thinking that kind of system would be incredibly hard to regulate
 
Cheers for all your suggestions guys, I had a chat with someone in IRC and he confirmed my account has gone.

Shouldn't be a problem getting an invite so I will start again.

To be honest this isn't the first time it's happened, I lost accounts at FTN and SCC due to not been active as I travelled a lot. I have settled down now and would love them all back but it ain't gonna happen.

Did you try going to their respective IRC channels as well? I think SCC prunes accounts for inactivity, meaning they're lost forever, but I don't know about FTN. You may be able to get that one back, and even if you can't, checking first is always better than directly going to look for another invite.
 
Well so far I have got the following back -

SCC
WHAT.CD

ScT ain't with us no more so that ones defo gone, I will work on getting FSC and FTN back but I can't remember what my username or what e-mail I used so not holding my breathe there.

Do you get "username or password incorrect" when trying to log in? If so, yes, it's gone forever. :(

Next time you're having problems or have to be away for an extended period of time, you can go to IRC and ask for the account to be disabled - this way it won't be deleted from the database.

Well, in all honesty, TL is not hard to get back on. I'm not sure if they have that "1 acc per lifetime" rule, but I don't see it being a problem if you get another invite. Sucks about the ratio, but no pain, no gain. aka You live & learn. aka You gotta have the bad days before the good days can come. You get the drift :P Good luck sir!
