Titanic.

No matter how many times you watch the film, it is definitely something to behold. It is still such a tear-jerker, the special effects are outstanding and soundtrack is also fantastic, this morning I dug it out of our old CD closet and have been thinking of transferring it to my iPod. :o

I agree though that the script is embarassingly awful - why did they have to keep saying each other's names? This was certainly not Di Caprio's best performance either. The storyline is also rubbish, having the focus on this nauseating love affair makes a mockery of such a tragic event.

However nauseating, the majority of fans seem to praise the love scenes (particularly "Jack, I'm flying" and Jack's death) rather than the ones that demonstrate historical realism or special effects.

:D

That would have been an awesome ending.

Especially if her granddaughter was looking out the porthole seeing her granny belt past with her polyester nightie over her head.

"She had the diamond all along! Get the submarine!"

How tho?!
I dunno, border control eh?

I am 21 and always get teary when the music kicks in...

One thing that always bemuses me is did she drop the diamond on purpose in the ocean or just drop it?
Surely the boat guy would have asked her what happened to it too?

I dunno, dodgy film makers!.....................

Lol - I kind of agree.

I thought a better ending would of been her getting the necklace out of her pocket at the end of her 'story'. The necklace is what they have all been looking for. BUT, after hearing the love story, and being emotionally moved by it - they all decide it would be more 'fitting' for the necklace to be thrown to sea. They should all be involved in it.

That was the alternate ending. He began laughing and then allowed her to throw it in.I LOVE this film it always makes me sad though
