Tired of 'gotcha supervision in retail environment. Coping techniques?

I work in a large, branded retail pharmacy chain. We have a succeeded manager to when I was hired. The environment now is gotcha' moments. You didn't sell candy (when we were trying desperately to close store); you were ten minutes late (back from my unpaid lunch); Pharmacy caught in lie saying that I used store overhead to inform them that I had put a call on hold for the fourth time (when I had used the speaker on one phone located in the Pharmacy Department). Seems like management has a supreme distrust. Former Manager informed me that I was one of six that could be depended on to run the store. The employees; including myself, likewise have a distrust of management. There has been a recent complaint to Division HR of a hostile work environment. Coping techniques?
